Co-orbital exoplanets: two reasons that make them difficult to detect

Co-orbital exoplanets are a by-product of planetary system formation models. However, none have been detected thus far. After a brief review of the stability and detection issues of such systems, we will address two issues: one related to system’s ability to survive the destabilization generated by the tidal effects and the other the presence of mutual inclination. This will be an opportunity to present results on some families of inclined quasi-periodic orbits, their stabilities and bifurcations
